WHY ISRAEL? WHY NOW?

Why is the nation of Israel coming more and more to the forefront of our conversations, church services, news casts and family discussions?  Why is it the center of our United States government policy?  Why are Christians now realizing that the nation of Israel affects them?

These questions and many more are being mulled over in an unprecedented way by Christians world-wide because we are witnessing biblical prophecy being currently fulfilled.

Consider these facts on the ground as it relates to Biblical Prophecy:

Over 3 million Jews have migrated to Israel from over 100 nations. (Isaiah 43:5)

Over 1 million Jews have migrated from the North, Russia, since 1989. (Jeremiah 16:14)

Israel has made the desert bloom and is currently exporting 1/3 of their food to six continents. (Isaiah 51:3)

The ancient cities of Israel are being rebuilt. (Ezekiel 36:33-35)

More introspectively, one might ask, what do these prophecies regarding Israel have to do with my personal relationship with God?

Perhaps we are realizing that for us to truly understand God’s heart, we must also come to know Him as the God of Israel. According to the scriptures, we should not be surprised that Israel is an unavoidable issue with Him because:

1) God has made an irrevocable covenant with the particular nation, Israel, through whom He has chosen to uniquely reveal Himself to the Gentile nations----that is, you and me.

This is what the Lord says, “Only if these decrees vanish from My sight will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me.” This is what the Lord says: ‘only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject the descendants of Israel because of all they have done.”    Jeremiah 31: 35-37

2) Christian faith does not supersede Israel or her covenant promises. God hasn’t neglected nor forgotten Israel, nor has the church replaced the Jews in relation to God (Romans 9,11).

3)  As God’s New Covenant people, Christians are inextricably related to His Old Covenant people. Together we share a common prophetic destiny.

JH Ranch has taken responsibility to carefully consider the scriptures regarding the Jewish-Christian relationship in order to align ourselves with God’s heart and His present-day work.  We have learned from scripture of His ongoing plan for the Jewish people as it relates to the Gentiles and that their best days are yet to come.

Our role involves friendship. We feel that this unique relationship, where opposing views of the Messiah exist, should not breed enmity or neglect. We have realized that prayer, cooperation, and openness precedes the right kind of friendship and a pathway for God’s redemptive purposes.  Please consider joining us in our support of Israel.
